Who should register: Operation and supply chain professionals at
midmarket OEMs, and electronics manufacturing service (EMS) providers in the
electronics industry who want to know more about global EMS and ODM engagement
practices and trends.

What you will learn: Attendees will receive training on CBA’s Outsourcing
Navigator Toolset, including the Global Pricing Methodology (GPM), OEM Internal
Spend (OIS) and Global Risk Module (GRM).

This 3-part series will be offered in 1-hour segments on March 24, March 31,
April 7.

Why you should attend: Globalization has created an increasingly risky business
environment, especially for mid-market electronics companies. Industry managers
need tools to compare their costs against applicable, end market-specific
benchmarks, including medical, aerospace/defense, industrial,
telecommunications and more. CBA’s Global Pricing Methodology (GPM), OEM
Internal Spend (OIS)and Global Risk Module (GRM) along with associated data
tables are constructed from actual industry data and updated quarterly as part
of the Outsourcing Navigator Council membership. These tools help managers
understand the underlying bases for cross-enterprise manufacturing costs in
order to save money and time, and derive new efficiencies out of global
manufacturing operations.

This introductory workshop series will help managers see how Outsourcing
Navigator
tools can help them make better global outsourcing decisions.

Cost: Free for qualified OEMs and EMS professionals.

What past attendees have said about CBA workshops:

“This workshop gave me immediate insights into EMS supplier behavior that I was
able to apply to a project the next day. CBA’s no-nonsense approach helps me
compare apples to apples.” Operations director, instrumentation OEM.

“Using this simple pricing methodology made it much easier for me to get an
accurate estimate to my customer without having to go through our finance
department.” Business development manager, EMS company.

“We are trying to decide which geographies make the most sense for our
products. I’ve been advocating a rational, regional approach for months, but
this data gives me the facts about global risk to bring to upper management.”
Supply chain manager, Mid-market OEM.
